If your book already exists as a PDF, you're most of the way there. PrintAIBook turns that file into a physical book and ships it worldwide — no account, no publishing, and no minimum order. Here's the whole process, start to finish.
Check your PDF is print-ready
A quick once-over: it's a PDF, your first page is the front cover, it's at least 20 pages, and the images are good quality (aim for 200 DPI or better). Short book? We pad it up to the minimum automatically. Odd size? We snap it to the nearest book size. The full checklist is on the Print Requirements page.
Upload it
Drop your PDF on the homepage. We read it and show you a quick preview — front cover, an inside page, and the back cover — so you can check it looks right before you pay.
Choose your format
At checkout you'll pick softcover or hardcover and see the price. That's it — no design software, no formatting software, nothing to install.
We print and ship it
Your book is printed on demand and posted to your door, anywhere in the world. One copy or several — there's no minimum.
Where your PDF can come from
Any tool that exports a PDF works — you don't need special software. Made yours in:
- Canva? See our step-by-step guide (and the one export setting to skip).
- ChatGPT (a children's picture book)? Here's how to turn it into a printed book.
- Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages, or anything else? Just export or "Save as" a PDF and upload it.
Do you need an ISBN or a publisher?
No. To print your own book — for yourself, your family, or as a gift — you don't need an ISBN, a publisher, or an account. An ISBN is only for selling through retail. More on that in Do I Need an ISBN to Print a Book?
