What we collect
- Information you give us when you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, and the PDF file you upload to be printed.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout — we never see or store your full card number.
- Almost nothing automatic: we do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. Your browser stores a single small preference (your chosen language) locally on your device; nothing is sent to us.
How we use your information
We use it only to run the service: to print and ship your book, process your payment, send you order confirmations and support replies, and meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed to fulfil your order, with:
- Stripe — to process your payment securely.
- Peecho — our print and fulfilment partner, which prints your book and ships it to your address.
- Our web host — which stores the site and your uploaded file on our behalf.
Each of these acts as a processor for us and is bound to handle your data only for these purposes.
Your uploaded files
We use your uploaded PDF for one thing: to produce your book. We delete uploaded files within 30 days of your order. We do not read, reuse, or share the content of your book.
How long we keep your data
Uploaded PDFs: deleted within 30 days. Order and contact records: kept only as long as needed for the order and for our legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.
International transfers
We are based in the USA and use service providers in the USA and Europe. When you order from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in those locations to fulfil your order.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. If you're in the EU or UK (under the GDPR) or in California (under the CCPA), those laws give you these rights specifically. To exercise any of them, email hello@printaibook.com and we'll respond as required by law.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored on your device is your language preference, saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. You can clear it any time in your browser settings.
Children
PrintAIBook is for adults placing orders (including orders for children's books). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above.
