Print Requirements

You don't need to design for print. Export your book as a PDF, check a few things below, and upload — our print partner handles the technical side.

01

File format

A single PDF, exported for print. That's the only format we need.

02

Resolution

Images should be at least 200 DPI. 300 DPI looks sharpest — low-resolution images print soft.

03

Cover pages

Your first page is the front cover. Your last page is the back cover.

04

Page count

At least 20 pages. Use an even number — an odd count gives a plain white back cover.

05

Print-ready export

Export with your tool's 'Print' or 'High quality' setting. Our print partner adds bleed, crop marks and formatting — you don't have to.

06

Safe margins

Keep important elements, such as text, at least 0.5 inches (13 mm) away from the page edges.

Tip: exporting a print-ready PDF

Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Word and most design tools can export a PDF. Choose 'High quality' or 'Print' when you export, and you're set.

Your file, your responsibility

We print your PDF exactly as you upload it — we don't redesign it, fix it, or check its content. Before ordering, make sure your PDF meets the requirements above and is genuinely print-ready: a proper front cover, sharp images, correct pages. Because every book is printed on demand just for you, problems caused by your file — low-resolution images, a missing or blank cover, layout or text errors, and the like — aren't refundable. If a printed book is faulty because of a printing error, or your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we'll reprint it — just contact us.
