How covers work — the important bit. Your front cover is the outside front of the book, and the back cover is the outside back. Each gets its own slot below, so a story page can never end up printed on a cover by mistake. Books also need an even number of pages — don't worry about that, we add blank pages before the back cover automatically to make it work.
